Allergies

Throughout our production process, we are aware that many people have one or more form of food allergy.

Allergens, in the form of, among others, nuts, sesame seeds and gluten can cause severe allergic reactions. That is why we at KiMs have strict routines to control these allergens and ensure consumers the best possible labelling.
Therefore, as a KiMs consumer, you can always document any allergens which could be contained within a product.

Fewer allergens
In the development of new products we focus on avoiding allergens in our products. In our current product range we work continuously to replace ingredients which can act as allergens, so KiMs products contain the minimum of allergens.

Security and quality
Right from the purchase of ingredients to the finished product, KiMs conduct spot checks for possible allergens. In the quality control of ingredients there is a fixed procedure in the testing for allergens.

Between the production of different products, a thorough cleaning of the production line takes place. This is to reduce the risk of cross contamination from one product to another.

The production of peanuts and other nut products is carried out in a separate nut centre, so that allergens from there cannot be transferred other KiMs products.
